In 2017, the “Fashion and Technology” Chair supported by Lectra celebrates its 3^rd year of existence.

The works of the Chair have been particularly fruitful with 16 research theses, 6 conferences gathering more than 3 000 participants, 31 academic publications, 124 press articles and 3 editions of the course Fashion & Technology which enabled to train 150 students …

In front of this success, Lectra and ESCP have decided to renew the Chair for an additional 3 years. The researchers will be particularly interested in the use of technologies 4.0, new consumption patterns and sustainable development.

17: this is the number of books offered to the ESCP library by Schneider Electric, Valeo and Société Générale Insurance in the framework of the IoT Chair (Internet of Things).

Selected by Sandrine Macé, Professor and Scientific Director of the Chair, these reference books address the problems of IoT in all its components, from web design to robotics including connected agriculture.

On Wenesday, 28 June 2017, the ESCP Foundation has organized a new exceptional event with Bertrand Dumazy (94), CEO of Edenred on the theme “ Why the passage to digital is it creator of value for all the clients of a company?”.

About twenty guests were there to enjoy this moment of privileged time reserved to a limited circle of donors.

This event has been hosted by Laurent Dumarest (77) at A.T. Kearney that we warmly thank.

Congratulations to Nathalie Balla (89) who becomes 2017 Alumni of the year!  Nathalie is the CEO and co-owner of La Redoute. She will be the ambassador of the values of ESCP for the coming year.

In the 2nd place, the Alumni chose to honour the entrepreneurial commitment of Joséphine Bouchez (14) and Matthieu Dardaillon (14), co-founders of Ticket for Change !

Raphaëlle Sabran-Egasse (01), Executive Director of Lascad, is at the third place of this great podium !

Each year, ESCP Alumni launches a vote among the ESCP community to elect the Alumni of the year. Congratulations to all the winners and voters!

The VIPARIS/UNIMEV/ESCP Professorship is dedicated to Economics and Marketing in the Professional Events Industry. Since its launch in February 2016, the Professorship organizes “Experiential Nights” to finish the course of “Experiential, sensory and event marketing”.

Bringing together numerous professionals of the event industry and a jury of experts and teachers-researchers, the experiential nights enable students to present, by team, their project “Red Wire” they have been working on during three months. The objective of this work is to concretely address the event sector’s problems.
