During the last CEOs Studio* on Wenesday 30 August, Nathalie Balla (89) and Eric Courteille (95), co-CEOs of La Redoute have presented the key steps of the renewal of La Redoute.

This duo “Winning Parity” reveals the work that has been accomplished to convince the Pinault Family (François-Henri et François) and to relaunch this French industry flagship.

9: the mystery figure of the month

9: this is the number of new debates programmed for the season 2 of the E.Leclerc Chair!

Since December 2016, the E.Leclerc Chair “in Future of Retail in Society 4.0” organizes debates to discuss key-topics about the retail 4.0. These events take place at ESCP every first Wednesday of each month (with some exceptions) from 8:30am to 10:30am and confront the vision of an entrepreneur and academic experts.

Next meeting on Thuesday 3 October! It will be dedicated to: “How to reinvent the 4.0 society in the light of the 21st century?” with Jean Staune (Philosopher of science), Laurent Stolly (Facebook France) and with the presence of Michel-Edouard Leclerc, CEO E.Leclerc and President of the Chair E.Leclerc/ESCP, and Pr. Olivier Badot (Professor at ESCP and Scientific Director of the Chair).

A.T.Kearney is the sponsor of the new ESCP Master in Management Class / Programme Grande Ecole.

This sponsorships permits A.T. Kearney to accompany the 900 students throughout their schooling, up until graduation. The class will benefit from a tremendous opportunity to be in direct contact with real-world corporate activity as represented by this global management consulting firm.

The ambition of the sponsorship is to forge a strong relationship between the firm and the students.  Whether academic, professional, cultural, sporting or festive, events organised around key moments of the students’ learning adventure will facilitate the relationship.

ESCP Foundation’s cocktail at the Senate

On Thuesday 5 September 2017, almost 150 donors of the ESCP Foundation have been gathered during a cocktail at the French Senate, in the presence of Jean-Pierre Raffarin.

This event has been marked by the word of welcome of Mr. Raffarin (72) and his call for mobilization: “Our great European School depends on us, the Alumni, for its development”.

Philippe Houzé, the School Governing Board Chair and Chairman of the executive board of Galeries Lafayettes has remembered that the School is living a strategic time: “a new status and a new agility to move upstream and to become the best business school in Europe”.

Christian Mouillon and Dominique Illien, Chairman and Vice-President of the Foundation have pointed out the need of a financial agility for the neew EESC¹ and the need to initiate a fundraising campaign from Alumni and corporate partners.

¹ : Etablissement d’enseignement supérieur consulaire is the new status of ESCP on 1srt January 2018.
