We are dreadfully witnessing the return of war in Europe, and of course our thoughts are with the people in Ukraine and our Ukrainian students.
As the true foundations of ESCP are based on an identity and values that are profoundly European and humanistic, we firmly believe in a European model of management. European education and higher education of excellence appear to be, today more than ever, necessary to defend our ideas and our democraties.
In order to face the situation, ESCP and its community have launched several initiatives to help our students and Ukrainian refugees:
- Reinforcement of our scholarship programme through the introduction of emergency grants directed to our students from Eastern Europe and also the creation of 10 grants representing 100% of tuition fees for new Ukrainian students who can join ESCP free of charge next September.
- Psychological support is available for our Ukrainian and Russian students and all those affected directly or emotionally by this situation.
- Funding for the repatriation of our students currently in an exchange programme in Russia.
- Launch of ESCP4U (ESCP for Ukraine): a certificate combining culture, language and management classes as well as mentoring for Ukrainian refugees whether they are students or professionals. This will be offered free of charge on our 6 European campuses with the objective to welcome 300 participants in 2022.
We would also like to congratulate all students and alumni who are implementing collections of basic essentials on our different campuses.
Thank you for your support.
