A new MOOC in process

by Isabelle Ferrièreon 15 December 2016in News, Our news

ESCP is designing and producing a “Doing Business in Europe” MOOC. This project is supported by the ESCP Foundation as part of its Digital Project.

The MOOC is aimed at a European and non-European public who wishes to enrich or complete their training. This programme will enable to students to acquire the skills required for their first operational initiation into the major business challenges in Europe, to encourage the discovery of “the Europe of Business” and to stimulate their desire to develop projects here.
By raising awareness and providing information on these subjects, it aims to enable learners to view Europe as a human and social opportunity and to seek to develop innovative and attractive responses for business projects.

By positioning ESCP as a player in this field, we are able to communicate our expertise and thus stimulate interest in the face-to-face programmes that the School can offer, be it in initial or executive training.

This programme will enrich our offer in digital teaching for both initial and continuous education.

The scope of the programme

The examples and case studies developed will highlight the six countries in which ESCP is located: France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy and Poland

The above will draw on the testimonies and expertise of alumni of different nationalities, working in different sectors of activity

They will also showcase examples of non-European companies having succeeded in Europe and possibly, a case study of a failure.

The objective is to launch the MOOC in February 2017.
