In april 2017, the L’Oréal Professorship « Creativity Marketing » launched the BigPicture2017 Challenge!

Big Picture is a powerful learning tool which brings together students from IFM (Institut Français de la Mode) and ESCP. Students from both ESCP and IFM are projected into the heart of the creative process: they are asked to design and produce a video in one week.

For this new edition, students work on the topic: « If in 20 years L’Oréal is no longer making products, what will it be selling? » (read the brief).

6 videos and concepts have been submitted to the jury:

• Groupe 4 
• Groupe 5 
• Groupe 6

The victory was attributed to group 6 composed by Yena CHO (IFM), Sam ENGELHARD(IFM),  Victoria Jarecka (ESCP), Nina MARSTON(IFM),  Laëtitia SIDA (ESCP) and Jessica STEPHANOU (IFM).

Through the ESCP Foundation, the School has launched a new Chair “In Factory for the future” in partnership with the Michelin Corporate Foundation and Safran.

This Chair will address the human and organisational management modes required to adapt to the acceleration in the development of production methods. It will examine the related conditions and consequences/

The purpose of the Chair will be to:

• Develop analyses and bolster knowledge on the subject via European benchmarking and case studies entrusted to students and researchers
• Transmit this knowledge through publications and conferences
• Contribute to the public debate on the conditions and impacts of new organisational methods in manufacturing

Since April 13, the IoT Chair (Internet of Things) has benefited from the support of a new partner: Société Générale Insurance.

The involvement of Société Générale Insurance began in January 2017 through interventions in the lessons, thematic meetings with researchers and partners, consultancy work with the students. Now, this commitment is formally formalized.

Under the auspices of the ESCP Foundation, the Chair aims to develop a better understanding of business and managerial issues related to digital evolution and the development of connected objects. It also benefits from the support of two other major partners, Schneider Electric and Valeo.

Thanks to the support of the Michelin Corporate Foundation, the ESCP Foundation launches the scholarships “Moving Students Forward”.

Because an international experience is nowadays necessary to career success, the scholarships “Moving Students Forward” allow ESCP students to benefit from a financial support to study abroad, on one of the six European campuses of the School.

Paris, London, Berlin, Madrid, Turin or Warsaw will be more accessible to the most disadvantaged ESCP students.
